In the play Type/Caste, God (in the form of a Nigerian drag queen) says, "Demons are nothing but characters out of the stories we tell ourselves." In this 90-minute interactive workshop we will explore how to craft theatrical narratives that liberate us from the demons of convention and conformity. Theatre artist Rotimi Agbabiaka will present excerpts from his solo shows Type/Caste and MANIFESTO and share techniques for embodying all the characters that reside within us.
