Angels and Demons and Everything in Between
with theatre artist Rotimi Agbabiaka

Wednesday, April 7, 2021

About the Workshop

In the play Type/Caste, God (in the form of a Nigerian drag queen) says, "Demons are nothing but characters out of the stories we tell ourselves." In this 90-minute interactive workshop we will explore how to craft theatrical narratives that liberate us from the demons of convention and conformity. Theatre artist Rotimi Agbabiaka will present excerpts from his solo shows Type/Caste and MANIFESTO and share techniques for embodying all the characters that reside within us.
