BECOME A DIAMOND WAVE ADVISOR
Help shape the future of nonbinary creativity, culture & belonging.
Diamond Wave is looking for people who care deeply about nonbinary community to help shape the future of nonbinary culture.
We're especially excited to welcome nonbinary advisors, while also inviting allies who want to meaningfully support this work.
If you've ever wished there were more spaces where nonbinary people could create, connect, laugh, learn and simply feel at home... so have we.
Founded in 2018, Diamond Wave is a fiscally sponsored project of Independent Arts & Media. Following a year-long strategic planning process, we've focused our mission on one goal: fostering nonbinary creativity, culture and belonging.
Now we're inviting new volunteer advisors to help build what comes next.
For questions, please reach out to Director Vin Seaman at vin@diamond-wave.org.
Priority Applications due: Sunday, August 9
Applications then accepted on a rolling basis.

Our advisors aren't a traditional board, they're collaborators.
Bring your skills, perspective and ideas to help strengthen the organization, support our programs and build a more connected future for nonbinary communities.
Some days that's strategy.
Some days it's troubleshooting a printer five minutes before an event.
Community work is joyful, sometimes messy, and always better together.
-
Operations: Systems, organization and making things run smoothly.
Development: Fundraising, sponsorships and donor engagement.
Marketing & Communications: Storytelling, branding and social media.
Volunteer Engagement: Helping people find meaningful ways to get involved.
Governance & Organizational Development: Equitable leadership and decision-making.
Other Skills: Finance, HR, technology, accessibility, video editing, event management...or something we haven't thought of yet.

You don't need to work in the arts.
Maybe you're a nonbinary artist looking to deepen your involvement.
Maybe you're a nonprofit, business or tech professional looking for a meaningful way to give back.
Maybe you simply believe nonbinary people deserve places where we can thrive.
If you're collaborative, dependable and excited to contribute, we'd love to meet you.
