About the Event
The night of Nonbinary Prom is finally here! You and your friends are dressed to the nines, Gender euphoria is in the air and magic and mayhem lurk around every corner. Do you and your friends have what it takes to save San Francisco from impending disaster and still make it to Nonbinary Prom on time and picture-ready?
3 lucky audience volunteers will get the chance to join one featured player at the table to become our adventuring party. No D&D experience is necessary! Characters and everything you need to play will be provided.
The audience will have a crucial role in making sure our players make it to prom in time and in one piece! Everyone will have opportunities to help the party, create chaos, influence the story, and decide whether our heroes arrive at prom serving victory or barely holding their looks together. Every choice could bring them one step closer to the dance floor or send the whole adventure wildly off course.
Through the game, Sky will demonstrate how DnDnDisability uses collaborative storytelling to explore nonbinary and Disabled identity, accessibility, representation, peer support, and the ways our lived experiences can become part of fantasy rather than something we leave behind to enter it.
After this event, for a LIMITED TIME ONLY, Sky will be opening up the private DnDnDisability Discord to allow Disabled and chronically ill attendees an exclusive opportunity to join the DnDnDisability community and apply to play in future games!
Whether you’ve been rolling dice for decades or have never touched a dodecahedron, come dressed for the occasion and help us tell a story together.
The clock is ticking. The monsters are hungry. Prom is waiting. Can you defeat the beasts, serve the fantasy, and make it to the dance floor on time?
