Celebrate International Nonbinary People's Day with THEYFRIEND!
Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and community at Temescal Brewing. Whether you're a longtime THEYFRIEND attendee, new to exploring your gender, or simply looking to meet other nonbinary folks, you're invited to pull up a chair and hang out.
This is a casual, no-agenda gathering designed to bring nonbinary people together in celebration of International Nonbinary People's Day. Festival curators and organizers will be on hand to answer questions about the 2026 THEYFRIEND Nonbinary Performance Festival, share information about participation, and connect with community members ahead of the performer application deadline on Friday.
No performances. No presentations. No pressure.
Just your people.

Temescal Brewing is a public brewery and beer garden located near MacArthur BART in Oakland. The venue offers wheelchair-accessible entrances, seating, restrooms, and parking, as well as both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Gender-neutral restrooms are available on-site.
KN95 masks are recommended when not actively eating or drinking, and will be available at the event.
To help ensure we have enough seating, we will reserve tables based on the number of people who RSVP by July 11. Please RSVP by that date so we can save space for you.

About THEYFRIEND
THEYFRIEND is the first and only performance festival dedicated exclusively to nonbinary creativity and performance. Now entering its sixth year, the festival celebrates the artistry, imagination, and cultural contributions of nonbinary performers through live performances, workshops, social events, and community gatherings.
THEYFRIEND returns November 12–14, 2026 in San Francisco and online.

This event is free to attend, but RSVP is encouraged by July 11 so we can reserve space for our group.
